Before Christmas, Grada Publishing published the book "The Legendary \u0160koda 100\/110 and Its Siblings", authored by Jan Tu\u010dek, a regular collaborator of Motor Journal.
\nThis publication is primarily dedicated to the \u0160koda 100\/110 cars, of which more than a million were produced in Mlad\u00e1 Boleslav between 1969 and 1977.
\nIt also reminds us of their siblings: the popular "bathtub" \u0160koda 110 R from the Kvasiny plant, the unique sports car \u00daVMV 1100 GT from the Prague Institute for Motor Vehicle Research and the development study \u0160koda Super Sport subsequently rebuilt into a horror film star named Ferat. It also does not forget the buggies with components from the \u0160 100\/110 series built in Metalex and the parent car company, but also in Belgium and Italy.
\nOne of the chapters also maps the development and start-up of production of the \u0160koda 105\/120 cars, the last \u0160koda cars with a rear engine. There is also a colour gallery of period brochures.
