At the end of November 2022, the Prague-based Grada Publishing published a new book, "The Legendary \u0160koda 105\/120 and its Siblings", authored by Motor Journal's regular collaborator Jan Tu\u010dek. The publication is dedicated to the last generation of \u0160koda cars with a rear engine, the \u0160 105\/120\/130 model series, the production of which exceeded two million cars between 1976 and 1990. It recalls the four-door sedans and the two-door coupes Garde and Rapid, their development, production and gradual modernization. There is a detailed overview of the production of these cars in individual years. The book also maps a diverse range of now almost forgotten variants and prototypes of various concepts built on the basis of the \u0160 742 and \u0160 743 cars in Mlad\u00e1 Boleslav, Kvasiny and Bratislava.
