Jawa Californian – motorcycles that, with some exceptions, were intended only for foreign customers, leave hardly any one-track fan indifferent. Product description

The publication deals with a short period of Jawa motorcycle production, in which it achieved success on world markets with its Californian model. The fact that the motorcycles were, with some exceptions, intended only for sale to foreign customers, primarily from the USA, has cast the Jawa Californian motorcycles under a certain veil of mystery. Those interested in the history of Czechoslovak motorcycle production, owners and fans of the Jawa brand will find in it a detailed mapping of the technology of these motorcycles, including detailed descriptions of all produced versions.
The second edition of the successful publication is expanded with three chapters, namely on police motorcycle conversions, which are increasingly appearing among veterans, on changes in production, relocation and technological capabilities of the factory and especially an overview of renovation experiences. The book also significantly changes the photographic documentation and brings many interesting details and news that the author managed to obtain.
