The veteran's alphabet. A practical guide to choosing, buying, renovating and using a veteran, F. Fiala, P. Kolář
A practical guide to choosing, buying, renovating and using is intended for everyone who does not remain cool when looking at a machine that does not come from modern production. Yes, we are referring to old motorcycles, cars and trucks, buses, tractors, or even military equipment. Most of these enthusiasts get their hearts racing when looking at old, often beautifully bodied machines - even more so when they are still running. It is no wonder that many want to have their own "historian" at home.
However, this brings with it a number of questions: how to get started, what to watch out for and what such ownership entails. The publication clearly and comprehensibly guides you through all aspects of the world of vintage cars – from vehicle selection, purchase, legal regulations, verification of authenticity to the demanding renovation process and the possibility of obtaining spare parts or accessories. There are also chapters dedicated to the final testing, operation and presentation of vintage cars at exhibitions at home and abroad. The book also brings to mind the unique atmosphere of magnificent rides and vintage races.

JAWA motorcycles on flyers and brochures, Miloslav Straka
The book is the last part of a triptych mapping almost a century of history of the Czechoslovak motorcycle industry. After the publications With the ČZ brand and Pionýr, Babetta and co. on leaflets and in brochures, we are coming up with a rich offer of original, often unique printed materials of our world's most famous motorcycle brand. At first glance, it seems that this is a book mostly with pictures, with only an introductory text by the author. Thanks to the pre-war brochures aimed at the domestic market, there is a lot of interesting reading available in Czech. In addition to the necessary technical information with a product description, the reader will learn a lot about the lifestyle, customs and priorities of the society of the time. The book Jawa Motorcycles on Leaflets and in Brochures is intended for anyone who is interested in history, not just motorcycle history. We believe that it will also appeal to the younger generation by recognizing that thanks to our ancestors, Czechoslovakia was among the most industrially advanced countries in the world before the war. All three publications, thanks to their focus and the amount of rare information they contain, have the ambition to remain in libraries for future generations to see.

ŠKODA – promotion abroad, Martin Kupec
The book Škoda – promotion abroad, 1945-2025 was created on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the Škoda Auto automobile company. This book is dedicated to the promotion and sales of Škoda cars at foreign branches and affiliates around the world (including the Czech Republic and Slovakia) from 1945 to the present day. Thanks to the book, the reader has the opportunity to get acquainted with completely unknown or little-known Škoda brochures and posters, which were prepared mainly by foreign importers themselves and partly by PZO Motokov. In addition, the reader will learn how printed advertising was done then and today.
