1. Introductory provisions
These terms and conditions govern the rights and obligations between the company Atelier Kupka sro., ID: 26232936, with its registered office at Hvězdová 308/13, 602 00 Brno (hereinafter referred to as „"publisher"“) and natural or legal persons who subscribe to the Motor Journal magazine (hereinafter referred to as „"subscriber"“).
Motor Journal is a monthly magazine about the history of motoring, velocipedes, motorcycles, cars and the people around them, published by Atelier Kupka sro.
By ordering a subscription, the subscriber agrees to these terms and conditions.

2. Subject of the contract and conclusion of the order
The subject of the subscription contract is the regular sending of the printed Motor Journal magazine for the agreed period.
Orders can be placed via the web form on the website https://www.motorjournal.cz/predplatne/, by email, telephone or post.
The subscription contract is concluded when the publisher confirms receipt of the order to the subscriber (e.g. by e-mail). This creates an obligation for the subscriber to pay the subscription price.
3. Duration and scope of subscription
Subscriptions can be arranged from any number, including retroactively issued ones, but always no later than the end of the calendar year.
The subscriber will receive a payment request to extend the subscription for the next calendar year. If the amount is not paid, the subscription will not be automatically extended and the magazine delivery will end at the end of the subscription period.
4. Price and payment terms
The subscription price is listed including VAT and depends on the number of issues ordered. The current price list is available on the website https://www.motorjournal.cz/predplatne/.
Subscription can be paid by bank transfer or by postal order.
The issuer issues tax documents only to legal entities and self-employed individuals (SEOs). Private individuals (non-entrepreneurs) will receive confirmation of payment receipt only upon request. Payments from private individuals are recorded in bulk in the issuer's internal records.
5. Delivery terms
Motor Journal is sent via Czech Post.
Postage and packaging is for the territory Czech Republic and Slovakia included in the subscription price.
Shipping to other countries is possible. For EU countries, the shipping cost is listed in the web form. For other countries, the shipping cost will be determined according to the price list of the Czech Post or Zásilkovna and information about the price will be sent to you by email.
If the subscription is purchased as a gift, the subscriber can choose a shipping date so that the magazine does not arrive before the gift certificate is presented.
Magazines are shipped after individual issues are published.
If you order issues that have already been sent, these issues will be sent after payment is received or at the subscriber's request.
The subscriber is obliged to ensure that his mailbox is duly marked with first and last name, had large enough to fit an A4 magazine and was protected against weather conditions. The publisher is not responsible for damage caused by an unmarked or unsuitable mailbox.

If a subscription is purchased as a gift, these obligations apply similarly to the recipient.

6. Changes to data and complaints
The subscriber is obliged immediately notify the publisher of any change to their delivery address or other contact details. The change can be reported by email, phone or mail.
The subscriber can complain non-delivery or damage to the printout. The publisher undertakes to handle the complaint without undue delay, usually by sending replacement copy in case a problem occurred randomly or from postal errors.
Repeated non-delivery caused by incorrect labeling, inappropriate or unprotected mailbox, shipping losses or other circumstances on the part of the subscriber will not be the publisher automatically replaced.
In such a case, the subscriber is obliged to resolve the problem directly with by mail, mailbox security or by changing the delivery address.
7. Withdrawal from the contract and termination of subscription
Subscriptions can be terminated by notification by email, telephone or post, or by simple failure to pay the subscription fee for the next calendar year.
The subscription expires after the prepaid period expires, unless renewed.
In case of early termination of subscription there is no entitlement to a refund of the proportional part of the price.
8. Protection of personal data
The publisher processes the personal data of subscribers to the extent necessary for the conclusion and performance of the subscription contract (in particular name, address, e-mail, telephone, billing information).
Personal data may also be used for the publisher's marketing purposes, in particular to inform about new offers and promotions of the Motor Journal magazine.
The processing of personal data takes place in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data.
The subscriber has the right to access their data, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, and file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection.

9. Final provisions
The publisher is entitled to change these terms and conditions, in particular due to legislative changes or adjustments to the services. The current version is always published on the website. https://www.motorjournal.cz/predplatne/.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
The terms and conditions come into effect on October 26, 2025.
