Harry Miller was, according to automotive historian Griffith Borgeson, „simply the most creative figure in the history of American racing cars.“ His engines dominated American ovals for nearly half a century. All of his products are crafted with immense care and ingenuity.
The Kopřivnice-based Tatra automobile company is one of the oldest in Europe. One of the most important cars in its rich history is passenger car Tatra 12, which followed the successful Tatra 11 model from 1923. The improved Tatra 12 model was produced from 1927 to 1934.
Vlastimil Jenik, a successful motorcycle racer from Central Bohemia in his time, was born on April 27, 1941. He first tried motocross, but there weren't many opportunities in the Poděbrady area where he lived. He started racing road motorcycles relatively late, at the age of 28.
